Is Luciole a restaurant or a café?
Honestly, Luciole is a café-bistro, not a full-service restaurant. You will not find grills, a mezze spread or a long dinner menu here. What you will find is fresh, light food served all day: breakfast croissants and omelettes, bowls, salads, sandwiches, plates to share and a few desserts.
That makes it a good fit for breakfast, a relaxed lunch, an afternoon bite or a light dinner in Jounieh Souks, especially with children around. There is no alcohol and no shisha, which many families appreciate. The café is open to everyone, with or without kids, and has a quiet coffee shop corner with a view over Jounieh Souks and the roundabout.

Can I eat while my kids are busy?
Yes, and that is the whole idea behind Luciole. The bistro sits right next to our kids' atelier, where children from age 3 can join hands-on workshops or supervised drop-off play. You can have lunch or coffee while your children paint, build or cook nearby.
Keep in mind the atelier has its own hours: Tuesday to Friday from 3 pm to 10 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm. The bistro opens earlier, from 8 am. The bistro also has a Kids Picks menu, served with a juice: mini baguettes, pasta and margherita pizza, from $5 to $8. If you want ideas for other family spots, read kids-friendly cafés in Keserwan.
Where to eat in Jounieh Souks for brunch or lunch?
If you are walking around Jounieh Souks and want somewhere calm to sit, Luciole is on the 1st floor of the Chiha Building. It works well for:
- Weekend brunch with family or friends (our guide to brunch in Jounieh has more ideas)
- A weekday lunch between meetings or classes, with students from USEK and NDU nearby
- A light dinner before 10 pm, with sharing plates and dessert
- Working or studying over coffee, with Wi-Fi and power outlets
Do you have group tables, takeaway or delivery?
Yes to all three. We have group tables for friends, families and small gatherings; book them on WhatsApp so we can keep one ready. Everything on the menu can also be ordered for takeaway, and we offer delivery. Message us to order.
For a longer visit, ask for our board games, made for adults and friends who want to stay a while after lunch. Live music and events are coming soon.
Can I host a family celebration here?
For children's birthdays, Luciole offers two formulas. One includes a kids' meal (chicken nuggets, potato wedges, mini burger or mini pizza, and juice) with a themed workshop for every child. The other is built around a buffet from the bistro for kids and parents. Details and prices are on our birthday parties page, and exact quotes are given on WhatsApp.
