What a family afternoon at Luciole really costs: entry, food and birthdays in Jounieh

By Jinane & Sophanie, founders of Luciole··5 min read

At Luciole, a 1.5-hour visit costs $10 per child, with the day's workshop activities included. Add a Kids Picks meal with juice from $5, and a quick after-school stop comes to about $15. Here is every price in one place, with real family budgets, so you know exactly what to expect before you come.

We are two moms, and the first thing we check before taking our kids anywhere is the price. Hidden costs, vague "ask for rates" answers and surprise extras are what make family outings stressful. So we decided to publish all our prices, clearly.

How much does entry cost?

Entry is $10 per child for the first 1.5 hours, then $5 for each extra hour. That price includes supervised play, the play areas and drawing walls, and the workshop activities running during your visit: arts and crafts, science, Lego and building, board games and more. The only extra is take-home activities, the projects your child keeps.

Luciole is for children aged 3 to 12, led by trained animators in small groups.

Is there a way to pay less if we come often?

Yes, three ways, all per child. The two memberships are opening prices for our first 50 subscribing families; after that, membership prices will increase.

  • Luciole Collector card (free): one sticker per visit, collect 6 within 3 months and the 7th visit is free.
  • Luciole Explorer, $100 a month: unlimited entries, up to 2 hours each. It costs less than single entries from the 11th visit in a month, so it suits families who come about 3 times a week.
  • Luciole Innovator, $200 a month: unlimited entries and unlimited time. A 3.5-hour afternoon costs $20 as a single entry, so Innovator pays off from the 11th long visit.

Memberships cover regular visits; camps, special events and take-home activities are charged separately. See all the details on our prices and memberships page.

What does food cost at the café and bistro?

How much is a birthday party?

The Kids Birthday Package is $20 per child (minimum 20 children) with a kids' menu and an atelier activity. A $100 private venue and facilities booking gives you the atelier room for up to 3 hours. For a party of 20 children, that is $500 before VAT. For parents too, the Birthday Buffet Package has a minimum spend of $25 per person, for at least 30 guests. All the details are on our birthdays page.

Why the price is only half the story

Value is what you get for what you pay. At Luciole, it all happens under one roof:

  • Workshops included: the creative activities are part of the entry, not an add-on.
  • A real team: trained animators and small groups, so your child is busy and looked after.
  • Food for everyone: fresh croissants, salads, sourdough sandwiches and a kids' menu next door.
  • A break for you: a quiet café with Wi-Fi, so your hour is yours too.
  • No surprises: every price is written down on this site.

Tips to make every dollar count

  • Ask for a Collector card on your first visit. It is free.
  • If you come more than twice a week, do the maths on Explorer.
  • Kids Picks already include a juice.
  • Share a dip platter ($9) if you come with friends.
